And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.— Genesis 1:3

Before there were stars to shine or eyes to see them, there was nothing but the breath of God. Then — sound broke the silence. A single command shattered the darkness and wrote the laws of existence: “**Let there be light**.”

This chapter isn’t a myth or a distant origin story. It’s the blueprint of creation, restoration, and purpose. Every verse in Genesis 1 demonstrates how God brings order out of chaos.
